The Congress made ‘nine guarantees’, including ₹1 lakh yearly to women and ₹2 lakh farm loan waiver, to be implemented if voted to power in Andhra Pradesh. An additional 50 per cent to farmers on MSP, a hike in the minimum wage, and free education till PG are some of the guarantees. The Congress also promised a house worth ₹5 lakh to the homeless poor.
