An orthopedic hospital and a doctor's car were also attacked while an injured Muslim man was being treated.

Communal clash between Hindus and Muslims in Telangana's Medak

Medak was festive on Saturday as Muslims celebrated Bakrid. A rumour spread that Muslims were transporting cattle for slaughter in a mosque. Hindus, many armed with sticks and stones, marched to the Minhaj ul Uloom Madrasa. The madrasa officials claimed the cattle were brought for rearing. Arguments escalated, turning into a communal clash, now brought under control.
