A postgraduate medical student in Chennai had a narrow escape after a person from Uttar Pradesh shot at him using a country-made pistol on 14 April. Luckily, the fired shot missed the target, the official said, adding that the perpetrator was immediately arrested with the public’s help. There were two men, one fired the shot and the other fled.
