Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday attacked the BJP-ruled Centre, accusing it of enacting laws by bypassing democratic processes and enforcing them on the people against their will. She alleged that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi was claiming to fight for women’s rights, his government was protecting rapists. He made policies for his “monopolist friends”, she claimed.
