Cancer concerns in spice products: India seeks details

After Hong Kong’s food safety regulator revealed that four products of Indian spice brands MDH and Everest allegedly contain cancer-causing ingredients, India, the world’s largest producer, consumer, and exporter of spices, has sought details from regulators of Singapore and Hong Kong. Both have banned the sale of certain spices of Indian brands MDH and Everest due to quality concerns.
