Kerala will pursue legal measures against the Union government’s move to notify the Citizenship (Amendment) Act or CAA. The Kerala Cabinet, which convened on Wednesday, 13 March, directed the advocate-general to initiate legal proceedings in the matter, in addition to the original suit that is before the Supreme Court. The chief minister has said it won’t be enforced in Kerala.
