Former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa appeared before the CID on Monday, 17 June, for an inquiry in connection with a case under the POCSO Act registered against him. The Karnataka High Court had restrained the CID from arresting him. Yediyurappa has denied that he had sexually assaulted a young girl, saying he would fight the case legally.
