BRS MP from Nagarkurnool in Telangana, Pothuganti Ramulu, quit his party and joined the BJP in New Delhi on Thursday, 29 February. His son Bharat Prasad and several BRS leaders also joined the party BJP in the presence of senior party leaders, including Union minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar and Telangana in-charge, Tarun Chugh. They called him the “most dedicated Dalit leader”.
