Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy sees the BRS exodus as an opportunity to strengthen his party in the GHMC and other weak areas. Hyderabad Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi was his biggest catch, along with her father K Keshva Rao. The GHMC has four Lok Sabha seats, Secunderabad, Malakajgiri, Chevella, and Hyderabad, where Congress seeks to improve its situation.
