The Opposition BJP and BRS in Telangana have claimed that the announcement of ₹2 lakh farm loan waiver by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was a result of their agitations and sought to know when the government will fulfil its other promises. BRS MLA Harish Rao claimed the waiver was announced only with an eye on the Lok Sabha polls.
