Breakthrough in Bengaluru cafe blast case

Muzammil Shareef was picked up following raids carried out in multiple locations in three states.

The NIA arrested a man in the March 1 Bengaluru Rameshwaram Cafe blast on Wednesday, 27 March, following raids across 18 locations in three states. Identifying the accused as Muzammil Shareef, the agency said he was a co-conspirator along with Abdul Matheen Taha, who is on the run. Mussavir Shazeeb Hussain, who had allegedly carried out the blast, is also absconding.
