Bomb threat: Security beefed up at Mangaluru International Airport

Following the threat received on 29 April, the CISF and the police got into multiple levels of security sweeps all over the airport.

Security has been beefed up at the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) after authorities received a bomb threat via email, police said on Saturday, 4 May. CISF and the police made multiple levels of security sweeps all over the airport. An FIR, registered with the police, quoted the email saying, “there are explosives placed in three places in the airport…”
