Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said the BJP did a “somersault” on the Katchatheevu issue due to the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Prime Minister Narendra Modi lacked the guts to condemn Sri Lanka over fishermen’s arrests or oppose China’s claims over Arunachal Pradesh. The BJP regime in 2015 said that Katchatheevu had never been a part of India, Stalin said.
