BJP ‘rebel’ KS Eshwarappa to file papers from Shimoga

Eshwarappa asserted he would file his nomination in the wake of speculation that he would back off from contesting the polls.

BJP in Karnataka suffers a setback with rebel KS Eshwarappa deciding to file nomination papers from Shimoga constituency on Friday. He blames stalwart BS Yeddyurappa and son and state party chief BS Vijayendra for scuttling the candidature of his son, KE Venkatesh, to favour Vijayendra’s brother, Raghavendra. What’s more, he swears by Hindutva and uses Narendra Modi’s pictures while campaigning.
