BJP moves EC against Karnataka minister for anti-Modi remarks

Shivaraj Tangadagi made the remarks while accusing the BJP-led government of not honouring the promise to create two crore jobs per year.

Attacking the Centre, Karnataka Minister Shivaraj Tangadagi has said youths and students who raise “Modi, Modi” slogans should be slapped. He said this while accusing the BJP-led government of not honouring the promise to create two crore jobs per year. The BJP on Monday filed a complaint against Tangadagi with the Election Commission seeking a ban on his election-related activities.
