The BJP has reasons to cheer despite its much-hyped south push not paying the expected dividend. With 29 seats in its kitty, the party has increased its vote share by 26 percent in all. It secured 45.43 percent in Karnataka, 35.8 percent in Telangana, 11.41 percent in Andhra Pradesh, 10.62 percent in Tamil Nadu and 16.68 percent in Kerala.
