BJP drops Kateel, Pratap Simha; replaces 10 K’taka MPs in 2nd list
Former CM Bommai will contest from Haveri and senior leader V Somanna will be the candidate from Tumkur. Former CM DV Sadananda Gowda has been dropped.

The BJP on Wednesday, 13 March, released its much-anticipated second list of 20 Lok Sabha candidates in Karnataka, including 10 fresh faces. Prominent candidates are Basavaraj Bommai, Pralhad Joshi, Shobha Karandlaje, Bhagwanth Khuba, B Sriramulu, V Somanna, Ramesh Jigajinagi. Pratap Simha gave way to Mysuru royal scion Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar. Cardiologist Dr CN Manjunath will fight from Bengaluru Rural.
