Several BJP workers in Karnataka are protesting the possible candidature of Union MoS for Agriculture Shobha Karandlaje from Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency. These cadres organised protests in Chikkamagakuru with slogans, including “Go Back Karandlaje”. Karandlaje said these protests were a conspiracy to defame her. They are proving a headache for the leadership as the candidates’ list for Karnataka is almost final.
