Bengaluru five-star hotels receive bomb threats, police say hoax

“We are tracing the roots of this threat email. It will take some days to ascertain the details. The probe is underway,” police said.

As many as three five-star hotels in Bengaluru received bomb threats, police sources said on Thursday, 23 May. The hotels reportedly received the threat via email, leading to exhaustive search operations. They turned out to be a hoax, they said. The threats come against the backdrop of a bomb blast in Rameshwaram Cafe in the city on 1 March.
