Bengaluru court remands Prajwal to judicial custody till 24 June

The cases of sexual abuse came to light after pen drives containing explicit videos allegedly involving Prajwal were circulated in Hassan.

A special court in Bengaluru on Tuesday, 18 June, remanded former JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, facing charges of rape and sexual abuse, to judicial custody till 24 June. The case came to light after pen drives containing explicit videos allegedly involving Prajwal were circulated in Hassan. He had failed to retain the Hassan parliamentary constituency in the recent polls.
