A cloth merchant from Kaul Bazaar in Ballari has been detained by the NIA and Karnataka’s Central Crime Branch, in connection with the 1 March blast at the Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru, sources said on Friday, 8 March. The teams suspect the man, an active member of the banned Popular Front of India, was part of the plot.
