Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore constituency has attention, thanks to the candidature of BJP state president K Annamalai. DMK and AIADMK candidates make the contest three-way. The BJP has a sizeable vote bank here. On DMK’s side is former minister Senthil Balaji who changed the party’s fortunes for the better, but is currently in jail.
