In a setback to the Congress, the Telangana High Court on Thursday, 7 March, quashed the notification appointing Telangana Jana Samiti president Prof M Kodandaram and Siasat News editor Amer Ali Khan as MLCs under the Governor’s quota. The court suggested the Governor may reconsider her decision to reject Dasoju Sravan and Kurra Satyanarayana the previous government named for MLC positions.
