Andhra Pradesh High Court halts probe into Tirumala laddu row by the IO

The functioning of the Andhra Pradesh High Court is crippled owing to the non-appointment of Government Pleaders (GPs) and public prosecutors even one and half months after the formation of the TDP-led NDA government in the state. There are only 20 GPs against the full strength of 40 GPs, and all the posts of the 80 Assistant GPs are lying vacant.
