News agency ANI’s reporter, Raghavendra, was granted bail on Saturday after he was arrested by the Ramanagara police for assaulting a PTI woman reporter, Elizabeth Kurian, during a political rally on Thursday. Kurian said there was some altercation regarding placing the mic. Raghavendra accused Kurian of verbally abusing him and claimed he was a “Kannada speaker” and justified his actions.
