The process to disburse welfare pensions to 66 lakh beneficiaries across Andhra Pradesh has started, officials said. More than 25 lakh beneficiaries received their pension on Wednesday, 3 April, Principal Secretary for Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Sashibhushan Kumar said. The distribution lasts till 6 April. The EC restricting the government from engaging volunteers caused the disbursal delay.
