Andhra CM Jagan unveils ₹1.5 lakh crore ‘Vision Vizag’ plan
Jagan emphasised that to compete with cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bengaluru, Andhra Pradesh should focus on a port-led economy developing Visakhapatnam.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, on 5 March, released the “Vision Vizag” document, a plan to develop Visakhapatnam as an international city with a budget of ₹1.5 lakh crore over the next five years. Reiterating that Visakhapatnam would be made the state’s capital, Jagan vowed to take the oath as CM in the port city after the polls.
