Andhra Assembly polls: Jagan banks on women, Naidu on discontent

The ruling YSRCP relies on its pillars of "welfare and trust", while the TDP in alliance with JSP-BJP banks on critiques of Jagan's policies.

Counting for Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections is on 4 June, but ruling YSRCP and rival TDP already exuding confidence about winning the polls. Of 175 Assembly seats, sources in the YSRCP say they will get around 110-120 seats unlike 151 last time. Meanwhile, the TDP, which secured 23 seats previously, is now confident of getting 114-120 seats.
