Amidst the monsoon rains, southern states are battling a surge in dengue cases. While the mosquito-borne viral infection usually causes flu-like illness, it could develop into a potentially lethal complication. It’s important to get tested for dengue if you show symptoms suggesting you might be infected, especially if you live in or have recently travelled to an area where dengue is common.
