Seat-sharing talks with allies conclude; DMDK to contest in five seats, SDPI and PT in one each.
Tamil Nadu’s AIADMK on Wednesday finalised the seat-sharing arrangement for the Lok Sabha polls with its allies the DMDK, the SDPI, and the Puthiya Tamizhagam (PT). It also announced its candidates for 16 constituencies. The DMDK would contest from Tiruvallur, Central Chennai, Cuddalore, Thanjavur, and Virudhunagar, while the PT and the SDPI would seek the mandate from Tenkasi and Dindigul, respectively.
