60 Indian nationals rescued from Cambodia return home

The incident came to light as 300 Indians ‘revolted’ against their handlers in Cambodia on Monday, leading to most of them being arrested.

Indian nationals resucued from Cambodia

The Indian Embassy in Cambodia rescued the first batch of 60 Indians, who had been stuck in the country due to fraudulent employers. The plight of Indians came to light after 300 of them ‘revolted’ against their handlers in Cambodia. Among the 300, about 150 people belonged to Visakhapatnam. They were coerced into carrying out cybercrime and Ponzi scams.
