6 people succumb to diarrhoea in two weeks in TN tribal settlements

Health officials said the consumption of contaminated water could be the reason for the tribal people suffering health complications.

Six people died due to diarrhoea in tribal settlements in the Erode district in TN over the past two weeks, Health officials said. According to officials, four persons died on 24 May due to acute diarrhoea. On 5 June, two more persons lost their lives due to the same complaint. The deceased were from the Thadasalatti and Ittrarai tribal settlements.
