Five people were stabbed during a fight inside a beer parlour at Kazhakkootam in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday, police said. The fight happened shortly after 11.30 pm when one group had an altercation with another. Police said one group of youngsters was planning to celebrate a friend’s birthday by cutting a cake but another group tried to interfere.
