Karnataka Minister MB Patil insisted upon the need for a second International Airport near Bengaluru and said it would require at least 4,500 acres to 5,000 acres of land to cater to the fastest-growing city. He also said Karnataka has secured ₹6,450 crore in investment commitments from Japan and South Korea with the potential to create more than 1,000 jobs.
