Two children were among 11 people injured when a huge wave crashed against a floating bridge at Papanasam in Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram. Witnesses said people were thrown into the sea when the wave hit the bridge around 5 pm on Saturday. All were wearing life jackets and were picked up from the sea. The injured are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.
