Alleged security lapse led to the theft of ₹50 lakh from a vehicle of a private agency at Uppala near Manjeshwar in Kasaragod on Wednesday. The agency’s personnel had gone to fill cash in an ATM, leaving ₹50 lakh in the vehicle which lacked a grill on its rear windows. A man took the cash, and left, the police said.
