Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday, 3 February, directed officials to make preparations for launching the “Jaganannaku Chebudam” (“We will inform Jagan”), a programme, aimed at resolving the people’s grievances.
Jagan held a review meeting with the heads of various government departments on the preparatory measures for launching the Jaganannaku Chebudam programme at the chief minister’s camp office in Amaravati, an official release said.
The chief minister discussed the procedures to be followed in the disposal of grievances and steps that should be taken to track every request till it is resolved, the release said.
The applications received should also be tracked and monitored, besides conducting weekly audits and reports should be taken accordingly for the smooth functioning of the programme, it said quoting Jagan.

Elaborating, he said the existing call centres should be linked to receive applications and complaints from various government departments.
The chief minister said the ‘Jaganannaku Chebudam’ would be an improvisation of the existing Spandana programme, which would run smoothly only if the monitoring units are functioning effectively.
Requests and complaints would be reported by the people if the work is not properly done by the department concerned.
Government advisor (Public Affairs) Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy, Special Chief Secretaries Y Srilakshmi and Rajasekhar and other senior officials were present in the review meeting.
