BJP has exposed itself by celebrating transfer of Cash for MLAs case to CBI: KTR

He took Union Minister G Kishan Reddy to task for expressing happiness over the judgment of the Telangana High Court.

“Are you happy because the investigation has now been transferred to CBI, which is at the beck and call of the BJP?,” he asked, and pointed out that once the CBI was known as Congress Bureau of Investigation, but now it has become “Central BJP Investigation”, he said.

‘Ready for a narco test?’

The BRS working president asked Kishan Reddy whether the BJP was ready for a narco analysis and lie detector test of the accused in the cash for MLAs case. He also commented that after the high court delivered its verdict, the mice that were hiding in burrows came out, displayingtheir true colours.

He said the BJP should know that it is already under the scanner of the people for trying to corrupt the BRS MLAs with the offer of money. The BJP’s image has already suffered severe damage because of its unethical antics, he said.

The BRS leader said that the BJP was under the impression that it can do anything using money and power.

“During the last three years, your stock has gone down in the eyes of the people. There was no need for the BRS to expose the BJP now as it was already standing in the midst of people fully exposed.”

He said that BJP was trying to purchase MLAs to bring down democratically-elected governments as it has no inherent strength to win elections.

The BJP had tried to implement a similar strategy of destabilising the Telangana government by purchasing BRS MLAs, but the operation blew up in their faces, he contended.
