KTR named among top 30 influencers at World Economic Forum

KTR is the only minister from India to figure in the top 30; also on the list is AAP MP Raghav Chadha.

KTR top influencer at WEF

Telangana Minister for IT, Industries, and Municipal Administration & Urban Development KT Rama Rao has been named among the top 30 influencers at the ongoing World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

KCORE Analytics, which uses Artificial Intelligence and social network analysis to predict opinion trends, shows that the Telangana minister was one of the top influencers at the WEF 2023 conclave.

With the keyword #WEF2023, at 6:30 pm IST on 16 January, he was positioned at 12 and the Twitter handle of the ministry “Minister of IT, Industries, MA&UD, Telangana” was ranked 22.

When South First used KCORE Analytics at 12:30 pm IST on 17 January, the ministry’s Twitter handle was ranked third and minister KTR was ranked fifth.

KTR is the only minister from India on the the top 30 influencers list. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha Member Raghav Chadha is another politician from India who is amongst the top influencers at Davos.

It should be noted that KTR has been a speaker at the WEF in the past. He has spoken on various topics such as the role of technology in driving economic growth, the impact of digitalisation on businesses, and the potential of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain.

He has also spoken of Telangana’s vision to build a sustainable and inclusive economy, and how the state is leveraging technology to drive innovation and improve governance.
