Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu reiterated the state government’s commitment to the welfare of persons with disabilities during a visit to Mahadevpur mandal in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district on Friday, 27 June.
He distributed tricycles and assistive devices, highlighting the government’s efforts to empower the differently-abled through initiatives like Indiramma housing and new pension schemes.
“Our people-centric government is determined to uplift every section of society while rebuilding the economy,” he stated, adding that schemes such as free electricity, subsidised rice, zero-interest loans for women, and free bus travel are being actively implemented.
