In the wake of the deadly explosion at Sigachi Industries in Pashamylaram, the Telangana government has constituted an Expert Committee to conduct a thorough investigation and recommend preventive measures.

The blast, which occurred on the morning of 30 June at the chemical factory in the Pashamylaram Industrial Area, Sangareddy district, left 12 people dead and 35 injured. Initial reports indicate that a chemical reactor explosion triggered a massive fire, causing widespread damage and casualties.

The newly formed committee is tasked with examining the causes behind the incident and submitting a detailed report along with safety recommendations to ensure such tragedies do not recur.
