The award was presented during the eighth annual celebrations of the Kadathanad Family Forum, held at the CIDCO Exhibition Centre in Vashi, Mumbai. The honour was conferred by Vadakara MP Shafi Parambil, who inaugurated the event. Vadakara MLA K. K. Rema, who graced the occasion as the chief guest, also presented a ceremonial shawl to Ramesan Paleri.

This year’s ‘Kadathanadan Business Icon’ Award was also presented at the function to Sudheesh Sukumaran, Managing Director of Elmack Packages India Private Limited. The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including renowned film and television actress Veena Nair, Commander E. V. Thomas, Chairman of E. V. The celebrations were presided over by Manoj Malavika, President of the Kadathanad Family Forum Trust. Secretary P. P. Prakasan extended a warm welcome to all attendees.

This was followed by a musical concert led by young vocalist Devan Shreya, singer Kalabhavan Shiju, and Maheshwar. The evening concluded with a musical comedy show featuring Vadakara’s very own Januvedathi and Kelappettan, adding a touch of humour and local flavour to the celebrations.
