Chandrababu Naidu showcases Andhra’s investment potential on final day of Singapore visit
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will embark on a six-day visit to Singapore from 26 to 31 July, aimed at attracting investments to the state. During the visit, he will meet representatives of leading global firms, business owners, prominent industrialists, and other notable individuals.
This is his second overseas tour since the formation of the coalition government in June 2024, following his earlier visit to Davos.
The Singapore visit will serve as a platform to promote “Brand AP” and highlight the state’s new industrial policies and ease-of-doing-business framework, according to government sources.
The Chief Minister will showcase Andhra Pradesh’s infrastructure – its ports, airports, highways, and harbours – along with its water and land resources, 1,053-km coastline, and skilled workforce. He is expected to urge global investors to explore opportunities in the state.
Over the course of the six-day trip, Naidu will hold meetings with CEOs and senior executives of various companies. On the first day, he will attend a Telugu diaspora meeting, which will include members of the Telugu community based in Singapore and neighbouring countries.
The Chief Minister is expected to focus on attracting investments in sectors such as port-based development, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and data centres.
He will meet senior officials in Singapore to invite industrialists from the region to the Visakhapatnam Investment Summit scheduled for November this year.
Naidu will also take part in business roundtable meetings focused on the digital economy and fintech. In addition, he is scheduled to attend a dedicated business roadshow in Singapore. As part of the tour, he will visit key infrastructure and logistics hubs in the country.
