Keralam MLA Sandeep Warrier escapes unhurt in car accident
MLA Sandeep Warrier and others escaped unhurt after the car in which they were travelling met with an accident following a tyre burst at Koichana on National Highway 66 in Malappuram around 2 am on Saturday, 24 October.
The accident occurred while the MLA was returning to his hometown of Chethallur from his constituency, Thrikkaripur.
The vehicle lost control after a tyre burst. Two other vehicles travelling behind the MLA’s car also collided in the aftermath.
The occupants, including families travelling in the vehicles, escaped without injuries. Police rushed to the spot, took safety measures and restored traffic.
A major accident was narrowly averted in the early hours of the day.
