A Fortuner SUV driven by Kottayam CMS College student Jubin hit several vehicles while speeding from the college to Panambalam. The incident happened after a Freshers Day event at the college.
Even after hitting vehicles at Chungam, Chalukunnu, Kudayampadi, and Kudamaloor, the car didn’t stop. Locals chased it down, and the SUV finally went off the road and crashed near Panambalam. The vehicle was completely damaged.
When people pulled the driver out, he was half-conscious and suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. It’s also reported that he was earlier caught with drugs in the same vehicle near the college.
Police have reached the spot and started an investigation.
