The incident was reported around 1.15 am. The three-storey building has many shops selling toys and fancy items, which helped the fire spread quickly.
Firefighters from nine stations reached the spot and worked for hours to control the blaze. Their efforts helped stop the fire from spreading to nearby buildings in the busy market area.
