Wayanad District Collector Dr Meghasree has announced that identity cards for victims of the Mundakkai-Chooralmala disaster will be issued by 25 July.
The cards will be provided to 402 families identified in the beneficiary lists of Phase I, Phase II A, and Phase II B approved by the district administration.

Officials from the Economic and Statistics Department, Revenue Department, Kudumbashree, and Meppadi Grama Panchayat are conducting data collection and photo capture through 10 Akshaya Centers at the venue.
The identity cards will feature a QR code, family ID, and certified personal details. Beneficiaries scheduled for July 12 and 13 must attend on their respective dates.
The administration clarified that ineligible names identified during verification will be removed from the list.
