Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and national leaders expressed grief over the death of M.K. Muthu, son of former Tamil Nadu CM M. Karunanidhi and elder brother of CM M.K. Stalin.
Vijayan, in a post on X, remembered Muthu as an “illustrious” actor, singer, and public figure, and conveyed heartfelt condolences to his family. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also called Stalin to express solidarity, acknowledging Muthu’s contributions in public and artistic life. Several senior leaders across parties joined in mourning his passing.
