The Central Hajj Committee has completed the draw to select pilgrims for Hajj 2026, with 8,530 seats allotted to Kerala from the all-India quota of one lakh. Saudi Arabia is yet to announce the official quota.

All applicants aged 65 and above, the top priority category under the Hajj policy, have been selected. In the women-only category (ages 45–65), 3,620 applied, with only 58 missing out.

Waiting list positions have been assigned through the draw, with the “Without Mehram” category getting first preference, followed by General B-Backlog (those waitlisted in 2025) and then General category applicants.

Details of the draw, including cover numbers, are available on the Hajj Committee’s website along with instructions for selected candidates.

Payment receipts, medical fitness certificates, and other required documents must be submitted to the State Hajj Committee within the prescribed period.

Seats of those who fail to pay on time will be allotted to waitlisted applicants. Hajj trainers appointed by the State Hajj Committee will provide guidance in all 14 districts.
