Dr Haris Chirakkal, Head of Urology at Thiruvananthapuram Government MCH has been issued a show cause notice by Dr Vishwanathan KV, the in-charge of the DME.
The action follows Dr Haris’s social media post expressing frustration over postponed surgeries and lack of essential equipment, which the department claims damaged its reputation.

Citing these findings, the notice accused him of violating the conduct rules for government employees and asked him to explain his actions within ten days.
